actual high quality you get on DVD. However it does demonstrate
some of the quality features of our cine conversion technique.

We
support both Silent or With Sound 8mm and 16mm films
and have provided separate pricing for these below.
Note that due to nature of our "frame by frame" capture,
the audio capture for films With Sound becomes another
process, followed by the editing process to put the sound and
pictures in line with each other!
To
calculate the total cost of your conversion count the number
of reels and add up the total amount of footage from all
reels and enter them into the automated calculator to obtain
accurate pricing to proceed with your order.
Note: Small 3 inch reels have around 50 feet of footage and larger
5 or 7 inch reels usually have a feet and/or meter indicator on
the reel to show the amount of film.
Generally 5 inch reels can hold around 200 feet and 7 inch reels
around 400 feet.

- What format DVDs do you produce?
We record your footage on DVD-R formats unless you request DVD+R.
2 - Will DVD-R formatwork
on my DVD Player?
Almost all DVD players since 2001 support DVD-R format.
3 - What if the DVDs your produce do not work on my player?
Let us know the symptoms and we will immediately investigate
this.
4 - What Region Code do your DVDs have?
Our DVDs carry No Region information and will play in any compatible
DVD player in any country. Note that for DVDs to play correctly
in USA or Canada you need an NTSC DVD. For playback in UK &
Europe you need PAL DVDs although NTSC DVDs also work in UK/Europe.
Our DVDs work on any PC or Mac using appropriate DVD playback
software
5 - How long does the conversion process take?
Unless you have chosen one of our Rush Job options then you
should expect your DVD usually within 28 working days from receipt
(depending on job size and seasonal trends). If you have submitted
a large order then please let us know the order of urgency and
where possible we will send you completed DVDs to suite your
deadlines or on a weekly basis.

- I don't know what is on my films - Once I have my DVD can
I ask for alterations?
This is becoming more and more common where people are in possession
of films but have no or only a rough idea of the contents. We
offer a Re-Authoring service whereby once you have received
your DVD you can inform us of any changes to the sequence of
the films, cutting out of unwanted material, definition of titles
for each reel etc. In average you should allow between £19.50
to £25.00 (sometimes more) for each DVD re-authoring.
