The frame by frame conversion appears (without direct comparison with projection) to have removed a significant amount of 'frame jitter'. (More than I would have believed technically viable. Although my ciné projector is old, it is in very good condition mechanically.) The resolution of the images has undoubtedly been largely retained. (My television is of high quality.) Both colour and contrast ranges of the images have been well retained. (In my experience of working with (still) colour images this is not easy to achieve when converting from medium to medium.)"
