This
service can be the most economical means of transferring
your videos to DVD. Our Basic service provides you with transfer of
one tape to one DVD using high quality DVD Recorders. The presentation
is limited to plain text menus and very little customisation or interactivity
can be provided by this service.
Compatibility Warning!
The
DVDs produced by DVD Recorders may not play on some compatible DVD players.
A
fact that is categorically denied by the less experienced suppliers
If
you would like to have the freedom and assurance of playing your DVDs
on a wide range of DVD players then we recommend you use one of our
Video to DVD PRO Services.
We therefore only recommended this service depending on the make and
model of your DVD player. If
in doubt about compatibility of your DVD player please let us know the
make and model of your DVD player for further advice. We may recommend
you try one tape first or even send you both DVD-R and DVD+R formats
for your to try on your player.
Should your player prove not to be compatible with DVDs produced by
this service then you can upgrade to one of our PRO
Services and pay only the difference!
Almost all Sony, Panasonic & Philips players as well as some less
known brands play the DVDs produced by our Basic service.

receipt of your source material by email or telephone
2 - Your conversion is planned and scheduled to complete within
5 working days or less. Should the processing require longer
time we will inform you by email or telephone

QA Stages to ensure highest possible quality and total safety
of your material.
4 - We first return your conversions as part of our Risk Free
Delivery Service
5 - Once you confirm receipt & satisfaction we then return
your source material

- What format DVDs do you produce?
We record your footage on either DVD-R or DVD+R formats. For
more information on DVD
Recordables please click here (new browser window).
2 - Will DVD-R or DVD+R formats work on my DVD Player?
You can refer to your player's user guide or ask your supplier
or contact us for advice. Alternatively visit www.dvdrhelp.com
for further compatibility information about your player. Please
note that most user reports at dvdrhelp.com refer to DVDs that
were produced on PCs rather than DVD Recorders.
3 - What if the DVDs your produce do not work on my player?
Let us know the symptoms and we will immediately investigate
this. If the DVD is undamaged yet faulty return the DVD to us
for investigation. If your DVD is undamaged but is faulty we
will replace it free of charge.
4 - What if the DVD is a Gift and I don't know the recipient's
DVD player make and model?
You are advised to use our Video to
DVD PRO services that produce highest DVD compatibility.
5 - What Region Code do your DVDs have?
Our DVDs carry No Region information and will play in any compatible
DVD player in any country. Note that for DVDs to play correctly
in USA or Canada you need an NTSC DVD. For playback in UK &
Europe you need PAL DVDs.
6 - What if my DVD gets scratched or damaged whilst in my
possession?
If you have chosen our "Disk Recovery Assurance" service
simply return the damaged DVD to us for one-time free replacement.
Otherwise you need to return us your source material for re-recording.
We provide the re-recording service at 10% discount.
7 - How long does the conversion process take?
Unless you have chosen one of our Rush Job options then you
should expect your DVD within 5 working days from receipt. If
you have submitted a large order then please let us know the
order of urgency and we will send you completed DVDs to suite
your deadlines or on a weekly basis.
8 - What if I want a copyrighted tape transferred to DVD?
As copyright laws and consumer rights are very complex we are
unable to provide any advice on your rights to request for transfer
to DVD. We therefore rely on you (the customer) to have checked
your rights prior to placing the order. Ultimately by placing
an order with EverMedia the customer will accept all responsibility
for content of any material sent to us for conversion.

- Why should I use this service instead of buying a DVD Recorder
and convert my tapes myself?
Of course you can transfer your video tapes to DVD using
your own DVD Recorder. However using our service your will save
time as well as ensure that best quality from your source tapes
is transferred to DVD using our professional playback equipment.
